Short Summary of the last days

by andy on December 20th, 2006

While cleaning up my flat and preparing stuff for Carinthia I’m coming back to blogging:

I’m looking back on the last week quite favourable: A work related meeting brought forward some unexpected surprises. Some of my colleagues seem to have a high opinion of my work and I’m highly motivated to life up to those standards.

Personal life also went better than usual. I’ve made new acquaintances and deepened older ones . While some things didn’t work out as good as hoped for, still I’m happy for everything and looking forward towards the future. I’ve grown, learned some stuff about myself, old scars may finally heal. Oh, and I’m partly back into whisky and absinthe again.
As some of you noticed, I’m not logged in as often to IM services as I used to be. While still being online most of the time (as my computer is my multimedia hub) I accepted that being online all of the time took away lots of my high-quality time – even only through glancing at the other online contacts from time to time. I noticed the same problem with my mobile phone: I use it as clock replacement and have developed the habit of checking it quite often – at cost of loosing my current stream of thought. Maybe it’s time for a wrist watch again. If you need something important from me you still got your mail client or phone.

The current concert outlook is also great (but still a quarter year away): NiN, Deftones and others will be visiting Vienna: Hooray!
