the first two weeks of summer..

The first two weeks of this summer’s vacations have already elapsed. I’m headlong in work but am able to squeeze little bits of recovery related stuff into my daily schedule.

After my birthday I made a pact with myself: I will shoot some arrows, practise the guitar, do some push-ups and work at least three hours a day. Till now the later two do seem to work, i shot at least some arrows in the last ten days.. but never ever touched the guitar. So much for good intents. At least I’ve hit the beach more often than last year.

Some old behaviour also re-emerged: I still tend to do exasperation buying. My bow could be seen a sign of that, or the multitude of books and dvds (the best of those this far seems to be the first season of x-files) that are stacked in my room. New behaviour can also be found: watching the stars after driving home while sitting on the still warm asphalt. Marvels of living in the country side.
