Remember, Remember the fifth of November
So finally I’ve got time to watch ‘V for Vendetta’ with some friends of mine. Even as the storyline was somewhat altered the only things I really missed were ‘Welcome to the land of do as thou wilst’ and V’s speech to Justicia.
Hugo Weaving did his role exceptionally well, I had fears that the mask wouldn’t be suited for a big-screen adaption. Also Natalie Portman redeemed herself after the fiasco which was called Star Wars.
The screen adaption was fabulous it captured the essence of the comic (sans the anarchist stuff). I was surprised as the events of July 7th (and I don’t mean my birthday) made a classic adaption of the storyline a little bit unrealistic.
Great movie, watch it!
