one man betrayed with a kiss
Judas Iscariot belongs to the members of dante’s inner circle of hell, punished for betraying the son of god to the romes. Why was he singled out to the other inhabitants of judea and what was his crime?
Jesus told Judas that he will betray him; is this a sign for Judas’ lack of a free will? If this woudl be so Judas punishment for something out of his influence is morally uncoy.
Judas was complice to Jesus with saving humanity from original sin. So he’s part of our salvation too. And while Jesus has to endure pain on the cross Judas has to suffer in hell.
Christianity’s behaviour of blaming Judas while hailing Jesus for our ultimate salvation seems kind of wrong and confuses me from time to time.
